The heat you actually need
We use high-density quartz glass because these things take a beating with all the rapid cycling. The goal here is consistency. You want the same wattage from one end of the lamp to the other. This is huge if you’re running a Matrix line at top speed—you need that heat to hit the center of the preform fast. One quick tip: if you’re pushing higher wattage in a tight oven, keep an eye on your cooling blowers. If your vents are clogged, the oven gets too hot, and your preforms will start to deform. Keep it breezy.
Simple swaps, fewer breaks
We stick to industry-standard connectors because loose fits lead to arcing and burnt-out sockets. It’s a mess. By following the Sidel geometry exactly, we’ve cut out the need for clunky adapters. You pull the old tube, slide in the new one, and wire it up. It’s that simple. Plus, because it fits right the first time, you aren’t jarring the quartz. That “mechanical shock” is usually why lamps die way too early on the shop floor. Now, they actually last.
