Now, the heating element is just a part you can swap out on the fly. We used standard brackets and quick-disconnect terminals to make it happen. So, if a tube dies after five years, you don’t have to tear the whole housing apart. You just slide the dead module out and drop a new one in. What used to take a few hours now takes a few minutes. It’s as simple as that. The trade-offs (because nothing is perfect) Now, here is the catch. Modular systems need more connectors than a hard-wired setup. And more connections usually mean a bit more electrical resistance. To fix that, we used high-temp rated terminals. This keeps things from overheating or losing voltage at the contact points. But a word of warning for your team:**don’t ignore the torque.**If those fasteners are loose in a high-wattage system, you’ll get arcing. That can actually weld the connector to the terminal, which completely kills the point of having a modular design in the first place. Tighten them up, and you’re gold.
